Kristina Fainstein, founder of SteinArtStudio Photography, is a devoted mother, wife, and artist with an inspiring journey. Married to her childhood sweetheart, George, and proud mother of two daughters, Katelyn and Kaylynn Elysabeth, Kristina has transformed her lifelong passions into a meaningful career. Her love for portraiture began at just eight years old, drawing family portraits and studying the emotions within faces. By age 12, Kristina purchased her first camera, using it to bring her fascination with people to life. After graduating from Law University and spending over a decade as a forensic investigator, she followed her heart and transitioned into photography. The arrival of her second daughter, Kaylynn Elysabeth, became a defining moment in Kristina’s artistic journey. Witnessing how fleeting time could be, she was inspired to capture every precious milestone and tender moment. This realization deepened her passion for newborn and maternity photography, allowing her to celebrate the glow of motherhood and the innocence of new life through her work. Kristina’s creativity also extends to painting and illustration—she painted her daughters’ bedrooms and illustrated the children’s book "Sealandia Meets Fika, Pearls for Mommy," written by her youngest daughter, Kaylynn. Outside of photography, Kristina finds joy in singing, ice skating, playing tennis, and savoring good coffee. She cherishes time with her family, drawing inspiration from their shared moments.
