We love our family pets. They are a part of the family and we love to share our happiest moments with them. The birth of your child is definitely no exception. So we are fully prepared to make your session pet-friendly, to be able to include every part of your family. With a plethora of props and poses at our disposal, we make it easy to fully accommodate your furry baby into any one of our unique sessions. Since our sessions include multiple setups, with family imaging included, we make it effortless to have beautiful pictures of your whole family together.
Our families love their family imaging, and are so glad they get the opportunity with us to able to include their whole family. The option is available to all and we are so happy whenever we get the request to have a family pet join in the fun. As a pet owner myself, I can say without a doubt that I would want to include my dog into my portraits as well. We have so many ideas for great poses that we are so excited to get the chance to do.
Now that you want to incorporate your family pet in your session, here are a few rules and tips to make sure everything goes smoothly during the session. One thing that we recommend is to take them for a walk beforehand. This ensures that they are nice and tired during their portion of the session, so they will be more likely to want to sit and lie down, which are two of the positions we most likely will use during the posing process. Make sure to bring your pet in only when it is time for their inclusion in the session, this way we can have a nice calm and fluid setup and shoot to make sure your session runs as smooth as possible. Lastly, we highly recommend that your pet know commands such as “sit” and “lay down” as well as being potty-trained. This is to avoid any messes during the session and also maintain a dialogue with your pet to be able to communicate with them to make posing more seamless.
